Pitch rooms
2024-25 / Pitch / Product design

Rooms enable Sales and Go-to-market teams to share all key resources and information with prospects and clients in one place.

In late 2024 Pitch adjusted its positioning going beyond presentations toward being “the complete pitching platform”. To get Pitch ready for that change the company leadership had identified one key opportunity: The creation of digital sales rooms directly inside of Pitch.

Within about one month our team designed and build the first, lean version of Pitch rooms.

I had the pleasure of co-designing this feature from the ground up in collaboration with Aneliya Kyurkchiyska, shaping the overall look and feel, editing experience, and external sharing.

A UI mock-up of a popover which lists visitors that opened an external link to a Pitch room and shows which room contents they viewed.

After launch, we spent about 3 months smoothing rough edges, and adding key functionality that didn‘t make it into the initial release. As part of that I ran a small round of user interviews to inform our priorities and worked on the additions of rich text and action itmes, overall improvements to layout & responsiveness, uploads of different content types, and file previews.

Two screenshots, one showcasing an emptry room with editing options, the other a popover for adding links and embeds to a room.
